Cole crops are plants that belong to the Brassica family and are related to the wild cabbage. Some of the vegetables included in this group are broccoli, cabbage, Brussel sprouts and cauliflower. These cultivars are grown as annual vegetable crops. They are often grown as an outdoor winter crop in warmer regions.
