BioDelphastus (Delphastus catalinae) is a predatory beetle for the control of cotton whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum). Adult D. catalinae black beetles with yellow legs while their larvae are elongated with legs, cream-colored and covered with short fine hairs. The pupae are yellow and spherical. The coloration of the head distinguishes males (orange head) from females (black head). BioDelphastus requires sufficient feed (whitefly eggs) in order to reproduce.

Application
- BioDelphastus is shipped in insulated, chilled boxes. Packaging must be kept intact until placed in the field.
- Keep in a cool location until release.
- Rotate gently before use.
- Distribute by hanging the D-box containers with BioDelphastus on the canopy of the plant or apply on the leaves.
- Apply in early morning or in the evening.
- Do not expose the bottles to direct sunlight.
Before combining BioDelphastus with any chemical pesticide in the crop, please consult your BioBee technical field representative.
